Our hovercraft activity is available for Bristol stag weekends, but is not for the faint hearted as you’ll be flying inches above the ground in a craft with no brakes. Think of this as a heart-pounding and noisy magic carpet ride. Manoeuvring hovercrafts is not as easy as it make look so you’ll be shown the controls by an expert before getting to grips yourself with a practice session. Then it will be your turn to handle these monstrous machines with only a throttle, handlebars and your body weight to control where you end up.

Format

You’ll be given a safety briefing and kitted out with helmets and overalls before being taken to the hovercraft course for a quick lesson before you are let loose at the controls of these powerful single-seater crafts for a practice session. You and the stags will now be ready for the race of your life on the competition course.

Dress Code

Helmets and overalls are provided.
