If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Robin Hood character, and you’re interested in practicing your aim and fire with your group of merry men, then we definitely recommend that you get a session of archery booked in for your stag weekend. It’s an ancient sport which dates back many centuries, and although you may think it looks like an easy activity, archery requires a steady hand, in addition to copious amount of concentration; so it’s essential that you pay full attention to your instructor, who will give top tips on how to perfect your technique, a quick demonstration and a safety briefing featuring those all-important do’s and don’ts. Get ready for your competitive streak to emerge amongst your group of stags and see who will be the first lad to hit a bullseye. We offer archery sessions across a whole host of popular destinations across the UK, so you’ll have a whole load of choices to pick from. So, pick up your bow and arrow, and get ready to get fired up for one memorable stag activity – and let us tell you now, there’s certainly no chance of firing blanks with this one!
Take a shot of a different kind on your Dublin stag do. A perfect break from the city’s legendary nightlife is one of the most popular stag do activities around – Xtreme Archery. Blending together the frantic action of paintball with the skill of archery – with a few rules stolen from dodgeball for good measure – it’s fast becoming a stag classic.
You’ll be competing in a battlezone, an open area that’s peppered with obstacles to duck behind and battle over. You’re equipped with a modern bow and soft tipped arrow – which at worst will leave a tiny bruise on impact (so the stag can’t complain when you keep hitting him). The rules are the same as dodgeball, if you’re hit you’re out. But as in dodgeball, if you manage to catch a ball (or arrow in this case) you can bring a team member back into the action.
As you compete to be the last team standing – this activity will put you through your paces as you put tactical skills to the test and do your best Legolas impression.

- Helmets x 10;
- Barriers x 5;
- Suitable Bibs and/or clothing in the typical Xtreme manner, with colours to suit each team.
