What to expect from Knockout on your Stag Weekend
For a kid of the 70s this was heaven but enough reminiscing, I bet here's something you didn't know.
If you fancy reliving your childhood, experiencing a bit of 70's entertainment then this is the stag party for you.
It's a Knockout was adapted from the French show Intervilles which featured teams, each representing a town or city, competing to complete bizarre tasks in absurd games, generally dressed in outlandish costumes... remember the Sidebottom?
The games had a regional feel being played in the home town's park, mix this with the unpredictable English weather and the entertainment was amplified by turning the grassland into a mud bath. Teams would be awarded points for their performance in each round, with the team scoring the most points winning the game.
Think gunge, ridiculous costumes (with this one it isn't only the stag who gets dressed up), fly walls, bungee runs, water slides, slippery logs, greasy poles (I know what you're thinking... stop it). This is a stag weekend with a difference and will have everyone laughing from the moment they see each other in your allocated costumes. A Bournemouth stag do or a sojourn to Nottingham could really benefit from this fun, nostalgic activity.
Stuart Hall made this famous and now you can have your very own go at It's a Knock Out.
