A weekend relived by Paul Harrison from Burnley.

Where did you stay?

Our stag party stayed where The Beatles grew up in lovely Liverpool. As mates we’re not that interested raving in clubs, much preferring dimly lit pubs with excellent music. We were told that Liverpool had exactly what we were after so that was why we chose this city.

How many days was the stag do?

It was more of a stag night than a full on weekend. One full day and one night was just about right.

How many were in the stag party?

Seven people were in our stag party, four of whom where related to the stag. You could say it was very much a family affair.

Which activities did you choose?

The majority of us are golf fanatics so a relaxed afternoon making our way around a golf course was just perfect for our stag do.

Any night time shenanigans?

After a few too many sherbets we mistakenly ended up in a strip club. It was certainly an eye opener.

Funniest story?

The look on the stag’s face when we bought him a double lap dance…at the same time.

Favourite moment?

Stumbling across a really small pub on one of Liverpool’s backstreets and listening to a fantastic live band.

Worst moment?

Losing at golf. I definitely wasn’t on form.

Any pearls of wisdom?

Liverpool and great music goes together like bread and butter. Its definitely worth a visit.

Would you do it again?

I would but I’d have liked for mates than the stag’s family going along.
