Maidstone Stag Weekends
Maidstone is Kent's premier party Town. Dating back to the 10th Century, and once being owned by The Archbishop of Canterbury, as such the town boasts quite a number of historic buildings.
However, as shoppers and night-lifers will testify - Maidstone is alive, well, and certainly kicking! Restaurants abound - serving food from all parts of the globe, and the night scene seems to be more than adequately catered for.

Maidstone More Info
"The Garden of England" - Maidstone is in the heart of South-East England, situated on the River Medway and is Kent’s pride and joy. It has extinguished its “granny-paradise” exterior and become a modern vibrant stag-destination. Plenty of bars, pubs and clubs all nicely packed into one bundle of fun!!
Maidstone's Famous For
Dawn French (rotund funny person with less funny husband), Wayne Sleep (prancing softy), Sir Francis Drake, Scott of the Antarctic (intrepid explorer), Sharron Davies (slim attractive blonde swimmer), Fern Britton (pie-loving unattractive blonde bloater), Plymouth Argyle FC (sweatered football team)
Maidstone Travel Info
About 3 and a half hours from London. Take the A5 from Bristol to Exeter, then the Devon Expressway (A38) all the way to Plymouth. Rail services run from London (Paddington) to Plymouth and take the same time. South Wales, the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland also go direct to Plymouth
Maidstone Stag Ideas
If eating is your bag, then check out "Tanners Restaurant", where James Tanner is a known TV chef. To wash it all down, take a tour round the "Black Friar’s Gin Distillery", private tasting session included!! Get your gun out your pockets and put your itchy trigger to the test a Newnham Park clay pigeon shooting. And you can’t mention Plymouth without its watersports. And that’s the surfing/ waterskiing/ scubadiving kind of watersports, not the perverse kind!!
Maidstone Nightlife
Plenty of pubs and clubs on offer here The "Warehouse" and "Candy Store" are top venues for thirsty stags to dance and be merry, whilst "Dance Academy" is a banging trance club built in a dated Victorian theatre. Bars around Plymouth’s glorious harbour and "The Plymouth Hoe" (promenade area) are also popular haunts for the pretty Plymouth tottie too. "Spent all weekend on the Plymouth Hoe. Scuba Diving by day, some other diving by night"- J.Mapp, December 2007
