What to expect from Medieval Banquet on your Stag Weekend
Henry VIII made medieval banquets infamous throughout the land whilst the majority of ancient Britons lived on a diet of turnips before catching the plaque and dying. If I've jumped a few hundred years in the above statement please forgive me as history was never my strong point.
A medieval banquet as an idea for a stag night is blooming marvelous. You will be taken back in time to the days of Arthur's Round Table as you enjoy a stag do filled with merriment and revelry. There will be a four or five course feast, washed down with goblets of ale, mead, wine or cider, and whilst you eat your fill you will be entertained by performing minstrels, jesters, fire-eaters, magicians and dancing wenches.
Enjoy a Medieval banquet on your stag weekend
A great way to theme your stag weekend as the entire stag party can dress up as their favourite medieval of fantasy character. Here's Jamie from Stoke on Trent:
"We went on a medieval banquet stag night and it was brilliant! We all dressed up in full costumes and proceeded to eat and drink as much as possible over a few hours. It was all very authentic and the minstrels were great. I was stuffed like a pig after the meal but will definitely do it again."
Eat, drink and be merry on a medieval stag night to remember.
