Football Stag Weekends

Newcastle is feverously passionate about its football and as such this is a fantastic destination to have a kick-about in while you are celebrating your stag do Newcastle style. The supporters of Newcastle United have not had much to celebrate in recent years, or some could say ever, but it doesn’t stop their fans turning out to games, often without their top, and displaying considerable passion. On your Newcastle stag do you can visit one of the most popular sites of five-aside football pitches for a match, whatever the weather. You can make your own teams and have a battle, but it probably won’t be long before you’ll be challenged to a game by the locals.

Format

All you need to do is turn up with some kit and we’ll sort out the rest. You’ll have your own pitch, with goals and nets and of course a ball. Bibs should be available to make it easier to tell the teams apart, while ask in advance about a referee if you can’t control your tempers. The site has changing and showering facilities and a bar for a post-match pint.

Dress Code

Bringing football kit should be fairly obvious, but you’ll need appropriate footwear for the pitch, so not flat-sole trainers and not full on studs as the pitch is artificial.

Duration

You’ll have the pitch for an hour, which as you get older is more than enough to bring on exhaustion.

Availabillity

The pitch can be played on all year round.
