Our hovercraft activity is available for Nottingham stag weekends, but is not for the faint hearted as you’ll be flying inches above the ground around a complex obstacle course in a craft with no brakes. Think of this as a heart-pounding and very loud magic carpet ride. Manoeuvring hovercrafts is no easy task so you’ll be shown the controls by an expert before getting to grips yourself with a practice session. Then it will be your turn to handle these monstrous machines with only a throttle, handlebars and your body weight to control where you end up.

Format

You’ll be given a safety briefing and kitted out with helmets and overalls before being taken to the hovercraft course for a quick lesson before you are let loose at the controls of these powerful single-seater crafts for a practice session. You’ll now be ready for the race of your life on the competition course.

Dress Code

Helmets and overalls are provided.
