A few of us had gone to Nottingham University so it seemed like the perfect stag do for all of us to get together and dance the night fandango. To be honest it had changed a lot since I was last there…much better.
It was more of a stag night than a weekend. Short but action packed.
We had a really good turn out for the stag and in total 21 people came along.
If you go to the home of Robin Hood you have to try archery, just to keep it authentic. So in the morning we spent trying to hit our targets with bows and arrows and in the afternoon we hurtled around a course in hovercrafts. Oh my god they were so much fun and must for any stag party.

A city with a female to male ratio of 4:1 is a recipe for a lot of fun. Mountains of booze induced shenanigans followed us all over Nottingham, but what goes on tour stays on tour.
Kev (the stag’s brother) had no idea how to handle his hovercraft. He kept spinning it in circles and then he went completely out of control and span into a tree. No one was hurt and the hovercraft was fine but it was so funny.
Hanging out with all those crazy cats in Nottingham and seeing so many more bars than when I was a student there.
Downing half a bottle of gin because I lost a particular bet. Horrific stuff and no wonder its called mother’s ruin.
Drink for the rich and drink for the poor.
