Friday - He's got a tank!

Bored with Paintballing and all that pretend fighting? We thought we'd try something different – riding around the fields of Sussex in a bloody great big tank. The Alvis Spartan Command Vehicle Reconnaissance Tank is the sort of motor that might not impress a girl on your first date, but will certainly win her dad over. We thought the idea was simply to drive through some farmer's field (he's not going to complain), but the driver had other things in mind; namely, demonstrating how the monster can climb and go down 60-degree angles, and at 45mph (the thing can reach 55mph). This must have been exactly what it was like in Normandy in 1944, except there are no Germans shooting at us.
