Portsmouth Stag do guide

As one might expect from a historic port-town and a bustling university city, Portsmouth boasts an abundance of drinking establishments. From the traditional pubs of Albert Road that leads to the seafront, to trendy waterfront wine bars, there’s plenty of venues for your after dark debauchery in this well-trodden sailor’s haunt. As far as areas go, Southsea is a must-visit with its fantastic pubs including Little Johnny Russell’s, The Fat Fox, The Wine Vaults and Hole in the Wall. Gunwharf Quays is similarly top notch with Tiger Tiger and The Old Customs House particularly worth a visit on your stag weekend.

Enjoy a fun day out with your mates and get ready to have a kick about that’s a little bit different from your usual. You and your group will get safety instructions and a demo about how to get into your zorb before it’ll be time to have a go yourself. Once in, you’ll get the chance to play a variety of games like crossbar challenge, dizzy penalties and much more. The activity lasts for about an hour which is more than enough time in those zorbs! A referee will also be on hand to make sure that everything runs smoothly and that points are fairly counted. Just remember to bring  a change of sport/gym clothes for the actual event.

    2) Full Day Paintballing incl 100 Paintballs

Forget running around basic woodland courses aimlessly firing pellets. Here you’ll have a full day to explore seven themed zones featuring movie set-quality props. These include the London Apocalypse, complete with red buses and recognisable landmarks, a Vietcong Village scenario with huts and guard towers and A Bridge Too Far, where you must capture the bridges and hold off enemy attackers until reinforcements arrive. Your day also includes 100 paintballs, but if you’re in a particularly ‘Rambo’ mood you can purchase more on the day. After all, you don’t want to come face to face with the stag only to discover you’re holding an empty weapon. This is a perfect opportunity for some friendly competition and an ideal site for paintball pros and novices.
