Canadian newspaper gives stag party destination pointers

A Canadian newspaper has created a list of the top ten cities around the world in which to enjoy a stag weekend.

Included in the list is the Gazette's hometown of Montreal, which it describes as "easy-going" and popular with foreigners.

The Serbian city of Belgrade is said to have an exuberant population and varied nightlife, while Argentina's Buenos Aires offers a mix of South American and European Cultures.

Meanwhile, those looking for luxury on their stag party might head to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Other weird and wonderful destinations suggested by the newspaper include Greece's Thessalonica, La Paz in Bolivia and Azerbaijan's Baku.

The remaining three destinations on the list were South African city Cape Town, the Kiwi capital of Auckland and Israel's Tel Aviv, which the newspaper describes as having "endless bars, pubs and cocktail venues".

Those planning a stag party on UK soil also have a number of choices when it comes to destination cities.

Edinburgh could be a good choice for those who want to combine a trip to Murrayfield national rugby stadium with their big party.
