A Stag's guide to your night out in Cardiff

Wales isn't only famous for leeks, perma-tanned rugby players and Catherine Zeta-Jones, it's also got an amazing capital city in the form of Cardiff. It may have an amazing scene of culture, castles and history but don't let that put you off, it's also a fantastic place to go wild on your stag weekend. With three major universities there's no shortage of young pups hungry for a fun night out and the city doesn't dare disappoint them. It has some of the best night life and night time stag weekend activities on offer in the UK. If you've booked your stag weekend in Cardiff but have yet to plan what to do in the evening there, let us give you a guiding hand.

Something to eat

Start off your evening by lining your stomach with some pre-booze sustenance. You're going to have a long night ahead of you in Cardiff so it's essential that you have enough fuel to keep you going all night long. We have a  great deal for a two course Italian meal that you can add to your package or that comes with some of the set packages like the Stag Party Golf Package. Food can often be forgotten on a stag weekend but we don't recommend it. You'll thank us for it afterwards!

Hitting the pubs

St. Mary's Street and Cardiff Bay are popular areas with a vibrant night life. If you're looking for good booze and great party atmospheres then these are two cracking areas to start with.  On St. Mary's street you have the newly developed Brewery Quarter with an excellent variety of bars and restaurants. On St. Mary's street you can find guaranteed stag weekend favourite bars like O'Neills, the Zync Bar, Yard bar and the Prince of Wales pub.  Further out in Cardiff Bay you also have some nifty little night spots that are waiting to quench your thirst with the tipple of your choice. Around James Street you have the Whit Hart, Mischief's Café Bar and the Yardarm. Mermaid's Quay in this area is also worth checking out as it has become a bit of a popular night spot both at weekends and midweek.

Onto the Clubs

Unsurprisingly the clubs of Cardiff aren't too far from the pubs and you can find great nights out from Flares, Club Latino's and Liquid all near St. Mary's Street. Around the area of Charles Street you have Minsky's Showbar, Club X and Exit all close together. Whether you're looking for a night of cheesy pop, funky tunes of banging bass, you're bound to find a club in Cardiff to take care of your musical needs.

After hours

When you've finished eating, drinking and partying, there's only two things left really on your stag weekend before your head hits the pillow and that's being entertained by some beautiful half naked women and then feeling the adrenaline of the casino. We can add casino or lap dancing to your package and in some of our classic packages they're already thrown in. With great casinos and gentlemen's clubs in Cardiff, by the time you get to this point of the evening you'll know you made the right destination choice for your stag weekend.
