To us, the man in the street who loves nothing more than a few jars down the local and a bit of football on weekends, a typical stag do would probably involve a spot of bar crawling, a lap dance or two and perhaps quad biking or paintballing during the day. But if you’re in JLS and more minted than a Trebor Extra Strong, nothing gets done by halves.

And that includes, so it would appear, stag parties. Those weighty-of-pocket X-Factor scamps have been thinking up some fun stuff to keep them occupied on bandmate Marvin Humes’ stag do. Before his impending marriage to The Saturdays’ Rochelle Wiseman, Humes and his chums will board a private jet in the US and proceed to go on an eight-city tour, visiting their favourite Stateside nightclubs. The Sun summed the trip up nicely, claiming that Humes was ‘unlikely to spend it handcuffed to a dwarf on a Prague stag do‘. Steady on boys, wouldn’t a trip down Oceana have sufficed?

The jaunt isn’t to everyone’s taste however, with Rochelle concerned that it’s all a bit over the top. In reality, she’s just worried that she won’t be able to better it with her group of female friends. Come on now Rochelle, can’t you let your hubby-to-be and his buddies have a bit of fun? Do you have any more frugal stag do ideas for them, Missy?

According to reports, the band are already trying to outdo each other in the beach body stakes as the trip is planning to take in seaside hotspots such as Miami and Los Angeles. Further reports speculating that band member Aston is doing his trademark backflips all day long at home have so far proved unfounded.

In an artistic move of Banksy-esque cunning and stealth, a Polish student has hung one of his works in a local art gallery without permission. Not wanting to wait ’30 or 40 years’ to see his art on public display, Andrzej Sobiepan took matters into his own hands by covertly added it to a room containing modern art similar to his piece whilst the security guard had his back turned. The stunt was clearly a success, because in a matter of days young Sobiepan was getting loads of national and international media attention, telling reporters he hoped it would encourage galleries to feature more work by young artists. What’s more, the painting was allowed to remain in the gallery, albeit in the building’s cafe. Still, kudos to the chap!

Speaking of the art of surprise, we’ve just launched a new Krakow stag do package which will catch the groom-to-be totally unawares. He is ‘kidnapped’ and bundled into a car to be taken away for interrogation, KGB-style, before being returned to you a terrified wreck later on. Luckily for him we’ve arranged a guided pub crawl as part of the package, so those nerves can be nicely calmed with a few ales.

For the secretive stag do Krakow is top notch and there are plenty of other ways to surprise the big man. For example he’ll never believe in a million years that you could be partying it up like Hugh Heffner in a jacuzzi whilst watching an erotic strip show but that’s exactly what you could be doing out in Poland’s second city on the stag weekend of dreams.

Similarly, he’d probably think you’re bonkers if you say that you’ve got a private tram full of strippers lined up. Again, anything is possible with our help out in Krakow!

Police in Western Sweden were left scratching their heads last week, after the kidnap they were investigating turned out to be little more than stag do pranks. Police in Borås were appealing for witnesses for a so-called abduction of  a man in a parking garage.

Several people had been seen apparently attacking a man at one of the city’s many garages, alerting police as several calls came in to the emergency services for the perceived attack. Joakim Karlsson was one of the men behind the incident and he said,

“Of course we are terribly sorry and apologize if anyone was offended. It was never our intention,”

“I guess someone saw us and thought it looked nasty,”

“But we shouted ‘lie down’ and maybe there was an echo in the garage,”

The police failed to see the funny side and have pledged to continue enquiries into the incident and take a decision on whether to take further action.

“We couldn’t rule out that it was a prank, but neither could we rule out that it was a serious crime,“ said police officer Sture Torstensson

Kidnap stag do prank in action

The old kidnap stag do pranks is one of our favourites here at Stag Company towers. One good place to give this a go is on a Riga stag do where you can actually hire former servicemen to kidnap your stag, throwing him into the back of a van and driving him away to a warehouse. There, he’ll be tied to a chair and questioned in a prank that definitely require an extra pair of boxer shorts for the stag.

That’s not all, you can also try your hand at shooting real life AK-47s and bob-sledding on a proper luge track to give Riga stag weekends that little extra sheen of originality, leaving you with a weekend that will live long in infamy.

We’ve put together a list of stag night dares that should embarrass the stag enough. Print this list and enforce it at whatever cost. Remember, there’s only one of him and a group of you so what the pack says goes.

Convince a girl to give her you her knickers
Pull a pig – cruel, un pc but as always hilarious (and trust us guys, girls do this to us)
Get a girl to buy you a drink
Steal something from each bar you visit
Get a free drink from the bar (even if you have to fake diabetes and get a free coke – this counts)
Go to a karaoke bar and pick the slowest most boring song, and sing it like you mean it. Cry if you have to but make everyone in the room feel uncomfortable.
Find a girl in the bar to switch tops with for 30 mins
Lick the armpits of one of your mates
Talk to a girl and when she asks your name, burp it
Wear your clothes inside out with your pants over your jeans and your socks over your shoes
Wear a toilet paper turban
Lick something in the bar that the group decides on (not a person)
Kiss a girl’s feet at 2am
Do 20 push ups in the bar
Tell a girl your most secret sexual fantasy
Pepper your entire tongue and swallow
Sing everything you say for 15 minutes in the style of Pavarotti
Find a guy in the room you don’t know and tell him you think he’s attractive.

Have fun with these and don’t blame us if they get you into any trouble. They’re only our suggestions remember!

Monopoly Bar Crawl
Get yourself some transport and head off around London with a Monopoly board for the night.

Go to a bar, pub or watering hole on each street or station on the board, having a cheeky pint and maybe a shot if your feeling adventurous. If there isn’t a bar on the street, bring a bottle of something special to have a shot of when you get to each location… Remember to take a camera so you can show evidence of each monopoly location.

Fancy a Stag Challenge?

Get yourself a camera with a flash and self timer.

Take the camera, make sure the flash is on and set the timer, passing it to each individual in your group.
Keep it going until the camera flashes in their face, this person must down the rest of their drink and reset the timer.
The pictures you get back will be entertaining and probably tell the story of your downfall.

Pub Golf

Choose from 9 or 18 course and look up the pubs in the area prior to your Stag weekend.
Give each pub a handicap, 2,3 or 4 Drinks.
On arrival at each pub line up the handicap for that pub and let the games commence..
Remember: Drink responsibly, then move on.

Fuzzy Duck

Begin the game by saying “fuzzy duck” to one of the guys to your left.  That person has to say “fuzzy duck” to the person to there left. Continue around the group until someone decides to change the direction of play by saying “does he?”. Does he changes the direction of play to the person to the right of that player and they must respond “Ducky fuzz” to the person to their right and keep going until “Does he” is said again…

Continue until someone cocks up, they must down a shot and the game starts again from the start.

Drink or Dare

You are all familiar with the game “Truth or Dare” just change the truth to a shot of sambuca and the dares will soon become very interesting…

I Have Never

Player 1: “I have never… (Insert a statement, it could be something true or false)
All the players that have must drink.
All players that haven’t don’t drink.

Move onto next player.

The Beer Sprint

All the players start drinking your pints simultaneously. The person who finishes 1st puts the empty pint glass on their head up-side-down to signify the glass is empty.

The last person must then buy the drinks and start again!
