We brought you news just the other week about the sheer numbers of people losing their money and possessions on their stag weekends abroad and naughty us, we never suggested a solution to these problems. Don't end up penniless with the stag do blues

The my Travel Cash card has been unveiled and the idea is that you pre-load the card with your budget for the weekend and it works like a pay-as-you-go mobile, helping you to control what you’re spending on the trip and meaning you only carry the cash you need at that particular moment. There’s no charge when you use the card to pay for things abroad and it can actually work out as a cheaper option than getting your money changed at a Bureau De Change before you set off.

Nifty, eh?

The only issue we can foresee with this product is, what if you lose it? I suppose that’s where the boys you’re away with come in. Another lovely little bonus of the my Travel Card is that you can avoid those pesky Ryanair booking fees when booking a flight with them, meaning that Prague stag do is looking awful frugal before you’ve even left good ol’ Blighty.

We’re always on the lookout for products that tie in nicely to avoid a dose of stag weekend blues, so if you have any other ideas of products we could feature in this ‘ere blog, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Especially if you can solve any of the following stag do faux paxs…

1. Lost in a foreign country (12 per cent)
2. Lost money or valuables (ten per cent)
3. Injured while drunk (ten per cent)
4. Verbally assaulted (six per cent)
5. Lost passport (six per cent)
6. Victim of robbery (six per cent)
7. Stole items (five per cent)
8. Physically assaulted (four per cent)
9. Arrested (three per cent)

’til next time…
