Go somewhere new for your stag weekend
You don’t need to only consider famous destinations for your stag weekend away, in fact, going to a location you know very little about can be a fascinating and exhilarating experience.
Stag weekends can often take a random turn as the group decide to do things they ordinarily wouldn’t, but this can be tricky if you know your destination inside out. You’ll end up doing the usual things in the usual places, so pick somewhere new.
Obviously heading to mainland Europe makes this easier, but you probably know a fair bit about Dublin, Amsterdam and Barcelona and while these are cracking stag do locations you can easily slip into tourist mode rather than being a stag.
One of our best stag do destinations that is relatively unknown is Brno in the Czech Republic. This is a city that is unrecognisable from the more famous Prague and it has a real authentic and local feel to it. You can drink like a local, party like a local and eat like a local rather than find yourself surrounded by thousands of tourists.
Another option is the historic Wroclaw in Poland, which is a beautiful city with a vibrant party atmosphere, which is attracting stags in increasing numbers without losing its authentic Eastern European appeal.
