The Hangover wins Best Comedy at Golden Globes

The unexpected comedy hit of 2009, The Hangover, has won the Best Comedy award at the Golden Globes
The film centres around a stag weekend in Las Vegas that is more than a little dramatic with a tiger, a baby, a missing tooth and Mike Tyson all playing their part as the group attempt to piece together the blanks on the morning after the night before.

However, the worst thing is that they can’t find the groom-to-be (Bradley Cooper), sparking the ultimate race to get him to the church on time.

Director Todd Phillips said after accepting his Golden Globe: “I want to thank my mom who supported my decision to become a director when she realized I wasn't as smart as my two sisters.”

The film has now ensured that everyone’s stag do, no matter how wild and extreme, will seem tame in comparison to this car crash of a road-trip – excuse the pun.
