Bedfordshire recommended to stag parties
Husbands-to-be who are planning a stag day could find that Bedfordshire is a good place to go.
The county has been flagged up by the Sun as the best place in the country for pre-wedding activity days.
Pete Bell, a reporter at the newspaper, went to see what was on offer and enjoyed a wide variety of attractions.
He had a go at motor racing, wake boarding, monster truck driving and even simulated skydiving.
Commenting on his visit to the county, Mr Bell said his activity day was so busy that they did not even need to visit the pub.
“A jam-packed stag-style day in Bedfordshire and not one drink consumed,” he marvelled.
He added that he particularly enjoyed the monster truck driving, which he said confirmed stereotypes about boys and large machines.
Of course, visitors to Bedfordshire who are not in the mood for thrill-seeking can still enjoy a more traditional stag night in places such as Luton, Dunstable and Cranfield.
