Get free beer for life with a tattoo

It has been known for stags to regretfully give in to a stag do dare and get a tattoo. Now the despair at seeing what you’ve got emblazened on your body on the morning after the night before could be eased by free beer for life.

This is the offer from a controversial Scottish brewer, who will give free beer for life to anyone who decides to have their logo tattooed on themselves.

BrewDog, who have attracted attention thanks to their super strength brews, have made the offer to coincide with the opening of a bar in Aberdeen, so perhaps stags on a stag weekend in Aberdeen should beware.

However, not everyone is happy with the proposal. Acting Chair of the Aberdeen City Licensing Board, Councillor Bill Cormie, said: “We’re not currently aware of any promotion that would allow someone to have a lifetime’s supply of free beer in exchange for a tattoo.

“However, speaking personally, I don’t think that any licensing board would consider this promotion to be encouraging responsible drinking.”
