Groom in court after smashing stag do
All stags hope their stag party will be smashing, but a groom-to-be in New Zealand took it literally and ended up being arrested on his big night.
The husband-to-be was left with some serious explaining to do to his soon-to-be wife after he was arrested having smashed a shop window while wielding a large ball and chain.
The 32-year-old’s stag night in Dunedin, New Zealand, had included his friends dressing him up with a prisoner-style heavy ball on a chain, but the fun and games were over as the stag began to spin the ball around as the party continued into the early hours on Saturday morning.
The man has been charged with wilful damage and will appear in court just two days before his wedding day.
