"During the summer, wandering round the golf course during the day and then hitting the seafront at night, it almost feels like you're abroad when you're in Torquay. Except there's loads of English people around – actually, that really makes you feel like you're abroad. Torquay gets tons of tourists, so it knows it has to show them a good time to keep them coming back, and it does. Check out the harbour side at night and you'll see why they call it the French Riviera. Pavement cafes, cocktail bars, very classy... till we came along anyway!"
