Great if you are looking for

  • An immersive and young nightlife scene
  • Something a bit fancier than your average stag weekend
  • Bubble football, treasure hunt, clubbing and pre-club bars

Getting around

Hop in a car and head up the M1. Trains take about 45 minutes from King’s Cross station so its within easy reach from London. Getting about the city on the Cambridge stag weekend is best done on foot, particularly if you want to sightsee. Taxis are the best mode of transport after dark, especially if your hotel is outside of town.

Tips and ideas

Punting down the “River Cam” whilst stopping off to get smashed is a popular pastime in Cambridge. Stag armada’s have been known to sail the high seas here... well, crash down the river in drunken stupors! The treasure hunt pub challenge is a great way to not only get some drinks in for the lads but also to explore this historic city. You can't come to Cambridge to lock yourselves away all day so the treasure hunt is a great way to kill two birds with two stones.

Xtreme events call Cambridge home and so you can try all their brilliant activities from bubble football, Xtreme archery and Xtreme footgolf that will keep a Cambridge stag do busy during the day and prepared for the big night out.

The local students have to be catered for and Cambridge does not fail to deliver on all fronts. The bars and their surroundings speak for themselves. Clubs such as The Fez Club is a popular place to lay down your funk, with a Moroccan theme chucked in too. The Kambar Club is a bizarre and alternative night out for a Cambridge stag do. It is found opposite the Corn Exchange Box Office and provides everything from moshing your mates head in, to the electric boogaloo!!!!
