Just because you’re in a winter weather location doesn’t mean that you can’t do some of the best adrenaline pumping activities out there. Snowboarding offers all of the fun of surfing, but you don’t have to try to fit into one of those absurd wetsuits. If you’ve never been... snowboarding before, it’s just like skiing except there’s only one piece of fibreglass between you and the snow speeding past under your feet. And you’ll look much much cooler.
Skill level doesn’t have to be a worry. Expert instructors are always on hand to get you up to speed on the slopes. Slopes come in a variety of grades such as Green, Blue or Black – so you’ll never be out of your comfort zone. And when you inevitably fall over? Well you’re just having a laugh with your mates! Once you’ve rode a few slopes you’ll see why snowboarding is one of the most popular and addictive sports out there. It’s perfect for a bunch of lads who like their fun fast and furious, and it’ll give you plenty to talk about for the rest of your stag weekend. Why not go on the piste in Riga? Yes, we’re dreaming of a white stag weekend in Latvia – where the winters are cold and snowy. We’ll put on the transport to get you to and from the slopes, plus we’ve arranged the boots, skis or snowboards, and three-hour ski passes for you and the boys, too. There’s even ski-clothes hire for a small extra cost. Perfect for a winter stag event – it’s up to you whether you’re up for the Black slopes or are going to stay on the Greens and Blues. Practise those parallel turns, or crouch down into a snow plough and give your mates something to chortle about! There’ll be instructors available, so skill-level isn’t a worry. Just go for it and hit the slopes!

There are several skiing locations around Riga and whilst the pistes are not as high or long as The Alps, they are definitely good enough for novice to intermediate skiers and snowboarders.
