Barcelona Stag do guide

Barcelona is a vibrant city with a historic background of art and culture, incredible beaches and probably some of the most attractive locals around… as well as some top nightlife. It also boasts a great array of restaurants, tapas bars and festivals.

It’s worth checking out Barcelona FC’s stadium, Nou Camp whilst you’re in the area; you never know, you might even bump into Messi himself! If this isn’t enough to convince you, then you’ll just have to take our word for it – a stag trip to Barcelona really does offer plenty more than just sangria and a bit of fun in the sun!

Getting around  Getting around

There’s a wide range of transport available in Barcelona; the metro, FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat) and tram are considered to be the quickest and most convenient methods of navigating your way around the city, and you’ll be able to purchase a variety of different travel cards and travel passes which are valid on the public transport network (metro, buses, tram and suburban rail) to make life a bit easier. For more information on Barcelona’s metro and rail services, check out the TMB website and FGC website .

There’s also a whole host of buses to ferry you around the city, which operates over 80 routes to connect the city and metropolitan areas. In addition, there’s a night bus service which serves most of the city and its suburban area. Alternatively, you and the lads can take advantage of Barcelona’s fully integrated cycle lanes and enjoy hiring a bike to discover what the city has to offer. If you’d just prefer a cab, then there are 11,000 available in the city which can be identified by their black and yellow colouring.

Remember, if you don’t want the hassle of organising transfers to and from your hotel, then sit back and let us sort it for you!

Tips and ideas  Tips and ideas

When you come to Barcelona, it’s not all about the football and getting drunk. Barcelona is renowned for its huge arts and culture scene, and a trip to check out some of the finest architectural works of art is an absolute must. The Sagrada Famillia is considered to be one of Gaudi’s greatest works and is the no1 most visited attraction in Barcelona. There’s also Park Güell, another one of Gaudi’s creations. This is a great place to check out some amazing views of the city – there’s also plenty of seating areas where you can relax and rejuvenate, if you’re nursing a headache from the night before.

If you’ve got a few hours to spare, then why not head down to the sandy beach where you can sunbathe. We also definitely recommend checking out some of Barcelona’s restaurants – the choice of places to eat is immense; from trendy tapas bars where you can indulge in traditional Spanish cuisine to New York style pizza places and fish and chips, there’ll be something to tickle everyone’s taste buds.

Nightlife  Nightlife

Unsure of how to start your evening in Barcelona? Well, that’s where we come in; we can get you and your party booked in for a good old fashioned bar crawl, where you'll discover the best bars that Barcelona has to offer. Your tour guide will show you her top three favourite bars in the city, and you'll also enjoy a complimentary drink at the start of the crawl, in addition to shots throughout the evening. Now you're all fired up, it's time to head to one of Barcelona's best nightclubs, where you can sip on shots, party the night away and challenge the rest of the guys to a dance off. With the majority of clubs closing at 6am, it's easy to see why Barcelona is one of the best party places in the world.

Barcelona reviews

QuoteWas a great weekend in Barcelona everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Booking and arranging was easy, staff were very helpful and answered all questions promptly and ground agents in Barca were great in getting things to us and helpful in suggesting things to see/do. Would recommend!

QuoteMaybe a clearer explanation about the apartments that people are staying in, and a far better description of the activities. We thought we had booked a booze cruise, only to find out when we get there that its a sit down sight seeing tour. Luckily the rep on the ground sorted something different for us.
