Sky Diving stag weekends: What to expect

Adrenaline pumping is something that we often talk about at the Stag Company, but we have to admit that sky diving might be the ultimate activity for getting the pulse racing and adrenaline levels soaring. You’ll be plummeting towards the earth at speeds that can approach 100 miles an hour. It gives a rush that nothing can compare to. As you and the lads head up to heights of 10,000ft and more by plane you’ll feel the nerves. Teeth will chatter, hands will tremor. Will any of you buckle and quit and refuse to jump? Let’s hope not because they’ll be the butt of the jokes when everybody gets back to ground level.

Now of course we wouldn’t expect you to handle the parachute yourself. You’ll be strapped to a instructor who has an endless amount of experience when it comes to free-fall jumps. This is in addition to a safety briefing prior to your jump. The highest levels of safety are ensured. So with all the health and safety bits taken care of, you can focus on experiencing the exhilarating rush of free-fall. It’s the kind of once in a lifetime experience that will stay with you long after your stag party comes to a close.

Before you take to the air there will be an important safety demonstration at the venue base camp. So make sure you listen to this as it’s incredibly important. The gear will be explained to you and the steps involved for the activity. It'll be your  actual instructor who will control the free fall element of your skydive. They’ll open the parachute for you approximately at the 5,000 feet mark, then steer your parachute safely back to the landing area. Truly a once in a lifetime experience so why not elect to have a free fall cameraman jump with you to video or photograph your jump.*

Stag Company Top Tips

Wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes. It can be a bit cloud up in the clouds so we don’t recommend a vest or anything like that. We recommend wearing comfy jeans and a t-shirt. Bring cash in case you want to buy a souvenir from the dive.

What our customers had to say about us...
