What to expect from Archery on your Stag Weekend
The bow and arrow has been around for pretty much as long as us humans and has been instrumental in assisting man to make sure there is meat on the table for dinner. Not a lot has changed in It's design over the centuries, but then again why would you want to reinvent the wheel.
Robin Hood is probably the most famous archer, even perfecting his shot to splitting arrows in two; William Tell was equally skilled but preferred a cross-bow, apples and kids; and poor Harold at the Battle of Hastings looked up to the heavens at probably the worst moment only to get an arrow in the eye. Idiot.
Amazing archery stag weekends available in Aberdeen, Cambridge, Chester, Edinburgh, Exeter, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Maidstone, Newcastle stag do, Prague, Reading, Sheffield & York Archery is popular with all ages and is a recognised Olympic sport but don't be fooled by this simple hunting tool. It takes a hell of a lot of hand eye coordination, not to mention years of practice to reach the heroic heights of our very own Mr Hood.
If you're feeling a bit merry and for some reason fancy men in tights then archery could be hitting the bull's eye of all stag weekends.
A stag weekend isn't complete with some healthy rivalry amongst a band of merry men (tights optional) so why not pick your skills against one another with archery. You can even spice things up by adding forfeit's to the losing team and prizes for the worst archer.
I know we're in the 21st Century but a man's role is as hunter gatherer, so why not see for yourself how hard it was for your very very distant ancestors to put food on the table. Stag do ideas like this aren't even up for debate.
