Amsterdam is known for being home to a host of museums, but the one that we feel you’ll be the most excited to hear about is the Heineken Brewery Experience. It’s probably the most suitable museum for a stag weekend in Amsterdam as well! You’ll go on a journey through the ages and stages of how Heineken is created, and don’t worry there are chances to sample the wares of the brewery as well, including a lesson on how to drink beer properly.
Your package also includes return airport transfers, a meet and greet at your accommodation, free beer at your accommodation and a local bar, guestlist nightclub entry, and even a map of Amsterdam detailing suggested pubs, bars, and clubs in the city.
When you arrive at Schiphol airport you have three choices; find out which train or bus goes into Amsterdam, hail a cab and hope the meter doesn’t go through the roof, or you can let us arrange some return transfers for you! On arrival, your driver will greet you, pack your bags away in the back of their minibus and then ensure that everyone is dropped off at their accommodation safely. Then, when the end of your stay in the Dam comes to an all-too-abrupt end they’ll be there again, to safely ferry everyone back to the airport in one piece.
Take a sensational interactive tour of the famous Heineken Brewery where this famous Dutch export was brewed in Amsterdam for a hundred years. The tour is self-guided, allowing you and your friends to wander around the brewery-cum-museum at your own pace. If you like beer, it's a great way to spend a couple of hours. There are chances to sample the focal point of the tour as well, at one point you’ll be taught how to properly drink a beer, and you’ll also get a wristband that entitles you to two free beers in the Heineken Bar at the end of the tour. You’ll also have plenty of great photo opportunities throughout the tour as well, so you can remember this beer-based highlight of your Amsterdam stag do.
Taking the boys to Amsterdam is a savvy way to kick-start the stag weekend of the century. The Netherlands capital is a feast of ‘lively’ bars and cafes, scattered in amongst the traditional buildings and cultural hot spots that line the unique network of canals. There’s a reputation for hedonism against the backdrop of the Red Light District, so expect to find some wild revelry with tourists, hen parties and locals alike. Things may get a little messy when you touch down, so it’s a good idea to book your nights out in advance, to avoid traipsing the winding alleyways looking for the next big thing. Add this to your package and we’ll organise your entry into of the big city-centre clubs. Your names will be on the guest list, plus we’ll throw in a sneaky queue jump for all the boys too. Bang.
Please note that no flights are included in any of our packages or itineraries, this is something your group will need to arrange directly. If you book an overseas package with us, that requires flights and has airport transfers on the itinerary, you can enter your flight details at a later date in our online Party Hub, so we can arrange your transfers.
