Since the pandemic struck in March 2020, we’ve been working hard to postpone 800+ bookings into summer 2021, or into 2022. These groups have now got peace of mind as well as a brilliant event to look forward to!
Our fabulous team have tirelessly processed more than 18,000 refund transactions, for groups who have been unable to travel due to Covid-19 restrictions. As you can imagine, this has taken us a fair bit of time to work through, and during the peak of the crisis, some groups had to wait a little longer than anticipated for their money.
When lockdown restrictions were briefly eased last summer, we were able to jump into action and successfully send away 30 groups to Covid-secure venues. We know that our trusted providers are ready and waiting to welcome your group, as soon as they’re allowed!
Since September 2020, we have committed to a 90-day turnaround time for processing refunds once a booking is officially affected and we’ve managed to keep within this timeframe, so everyone who is owed a refund, has had their money. The turnaround time ensures that customers are clear on where they stand and when to expect their money. Everyone who is within this timeframe has already got their money!
Our online reviews before Covid were close to perfect (4.9/5!) but some anxious customers have taken their frustrations out on our Trustpilot page over the last year. This has mostly been because our response times are currently slower than usual, and it takes a bit of time for refunds to be processed. Our score has dropped to 3.9/5 but we’re delighted that so many people have taken the time to leave lovely, positive reviews during the pandemic too. Our focus has always been - and will always remain - to keep our wonderful customers happy.
We’ve only had a handful of people working since last March, because we’ve needed to maximise the support from the Government’s furlough scheme, but those few team members are working hard from their homes day in, day out, to keep our customers informed and their bookings on track.
