Travelodge Bath Waterside

The Waterside Travelodge is a cut above the rest. Along with the usual perks of king sized Dreamer beds, modern bathrooms, this hotel is located on the edge of the River Avon. The area is peaceful and green, and the city centre easily reached by the pretty Halfpenny Bridge, just a three-minute walk from the hotel. Enjoy a glass of wine in the bar when you arrive, and if you fancy venturing out for supper, we can highly recommend the Ring O Bells, a really special gastropub with a fantastic atmosphere serving a Spanish influenced menu, just five minutes away on foot.

There’s so much to do within a stones-throw of your accommodation. Head out for a picnic in the Botanical Gardens, visit the Fashion Museum and check out Bath’s superb shopping district. The city has lots of cobbled streets, coffee shops and beautiful Georgian buildings, so it feels really unique. Make sure you stop into the Roman spa baths for a healing dip, perfect for steaming away those morning-after aches and pains.
