Inexepensive and centrally located are the perfect match for groups looking to base themselves in the heart of the action in Berlin. This is at the top of end of 3*, with breakfast, free wifi and luggage check in facilities available.
The accommodation will be within 5km of Alexanderplatz and your group will be assigned a knowledgeable rep for each of our groups, so you will always have someone on hand who knows the city.
If you’re adding hotel accommodation to your Berlin package, we provide breakfast and en-suite bathrooms as standard, in addition to giving you great rates. If you have any questions throughout your stag weekend there will be a staffed 24 hour reception desk at the premises, so any questions that you may have can be easily answered. Many of the hotels we offer for our Berlin packages have lounge areas, photo fun boxes and billiard tables but these are not guaranteed.
We ensure that your accommodation will be within 5km of Alexanderplatz in Berlin’s City Centre. To ensure that you always have someone on hand who knows the area and can keep you connected to the city we’ll assign you a friendly and knowledgeable rep.
Firstly, it would be to let a company like ours find the right venue for you, as the vast majority don't accept stag groups, so we only work with venues that have previously agreed and host hundreds of stag groups every year. You also want to go for a hotel or apartment that is within a walking distance of a subway. Having said that, the bus system works very well in Berlin and can easily take you around the city to where ever you need to go.
What you go for will depend on your budget, for most stag groups, they opt for rooms which you share with your mates, which can significantly lower the cost, however with several people in the room, you may want to enquire whether air conditioning is in place. Of course, you can opt for your own rooms, but this will reflect in the final price. Plus, getting everyone together for pre-drinks in the room and getting ready for the night out is half of the fun.
Providing you're not staying dead centre of Berlin, the parking isn't actually too bad surprisingly for a big European city. This means that you should be able to park up easily if you decide to rent a car or a minivan, but for most this won't be the case, with public transport taking you where ever you need to go.
This all depends on your budget, what activities you're booking and how close to the nightlife you want to be. One of the popular areas is Neukolln, which is pretty lively and has a good few bars and a young scene. But if it's all about the nightlife, then Kreuzberg may be the best option for you.
If working to a really strict budget, Friedrichshain is a cheaper area, where your money can stretch a lot further, depending on which hotel or apartments works best for your group. The Mitte area is good for first time tourists, so if there are plenty of people in the group that haven't been to Germany and want to explore around, this could be a good option. In case you hadn't connected the dots, Mitte translates to 'middle' and is the city centre, hence why it is popular for those looking to embrace the famous sights.
There are a few factors that you should consider. Firstly, what activities do you want to do during your stag weekend? You can fit 1-2 day time activities in per day, before the drinks flow, but you also have to remember how much time is spent flying there and back. The majority book their Berlin stag do for Friday to Sunday, doing a night time activity on Friday, before packing out the Saturday with plenty of fun things to do, before doing a small activity on Sunday and then flying home.
There are so many fun things to do in Berlin, including bubble football, go karting, brewery tours and beer bike trips, so you may actually want to stretch it to Monday and make sure you can get a full day out of Sunday. But of course, some opt for just two days, being Friday-Saturday, or Saturday-Sunday, but the issue with this is that the travel takes up such a big portion of the holiday.
If you're staying relatively central and the activities you've lined up or the bars you want to go are relatively central, then it should be very easy to simply walk everywhere. Of course, some activities might be on the outskirts, for space, which will require a taxi or an uber, or we could arrange transfers. If you plan on visiting like a tourist then some of the attractions are relatively stretched out, but considering the weekend might be quite messy, we don't expect you to tick off every tourist attraction within your stay.
