If you’re visiting Ireland for the stag weekend, then why don’t you and the lads get involved with a daytime session of traditional Gaelic Games? It really is a stag activity with a difference, and all you need is a group of six stags or more. You’ll have a... go at Gaelic football hurling and handball, and the good news is that even if you don’t have any prior knowledge, then that’s no problem! You and the rest of the stag pack will be introduced to the games to begin with, where you’ll learn about all the activities that you’re about to partake in, in addition to watching clips of them to get you warmed up for the four hour session of fun ahead! Once you’re done, you’ll be lead outside to the pitches where you’ll get stuck into trying all the sports. You’ll be equipped with an instructor who will show you the best techniques for your games and also act as a referee. Towards the end of your session, you’ll be able to demonstrate your new found skills and you’ll be pitted against one another in a series of mini matches – so one thing is left for it, who’s going to be man of the match?

Looking for something entirely different for six or more stags on your do in Ireland? See how well you can all master a new sport and give hurling, Gaelic football and handball a try. Know nothing about them? No problem. During your light-hearted and fun three to four hour session you’ll try all three sports but first you’ll learn a little about the games and see clips of them in action. Then it’s off outside to the all-weather pitches to put it into practice. Your instructor will teach you the techniques to get you going and referee the action and you’ll get a chance to bring it all together with mini matches at the end. Who’ll be the man-of-the-match in your Gaelic Games show-down? All of this running and larking about will build up quite a thirst for a pint of the black stuff on your stag do in Dublin.
Your group will get a chance to try all three sports: Gaelic Football, Hurling, and Handball. The sessions are conducted on all-weather pitches.
You will be welcomed on arrival, then told a little about the games themselves and shown some video clips. Tea/coffee and water is served throughout the session if required.
The emphasis is on participation and fun, and it is all very light-hearted - although most groups do play mini-matches at the end!
