This cool budget hotel next to Edinburgh castle has friendly staff, good facilities and quirky décor. The wallpaper in your room could be made from vintage comics or you might have a magnetic map of Edinburgh that you can use to plot your manoeuvres. Each room is equipped with an audio dock and free WiFi, so you and the boys can control the stag party playlist. Reception is open 24-hours a day and from there you can hire bikes, pick up maps, and get free advice on the local hot spots.
It’s set in the Grassmarket area of the Old Town, which is known for pubs that are full of character. From here, it’s just a short walk to Princes Street and the New Town, as well as the nightlife hub of Lothian Road. The hotel is next to Biddy Mulligan’s Irish pub, where you can pay for a full Scottish or continental breakfast every day. Also, if you fancy a late night snack, food and beverages can be served straight to your room. Coffee and sweet treats are available from reception and staff can provide packed lunches for your team to take out (for an additional cost of course!)
