Right then, gorge walking is something a little different to do on a stag do. It is one of those adventure sports like whitewater rafting or bungee jumping that has grown in popularity over the last few years. It is fast becoming a stag party ideas staple.
Gorge walking is a smaller version of canyoning whereby you follow a stream or small river. Sounds simple enough and you might think rather boring but this is far from the case because you could be walking through water a foot deep or wading up to your neck.
Throw a load of slippery rocks into the equation and you'll be slipping and sliding trying very hard indeed to keep your footing and balance.
Even the littlest of streams can fast become rivers, then waterfalls and you will be forced to swim through rough water as the depth increases or even negotiate rapids. The real fun starts on this stag weekend activity when you have to jump down a waterfall, there is no way round these things - you just have to take the plunge.

I guarantee you'll be left very tired, wet, cold and probably rather scared but don't worry, even though it is considered dangerous there will be qualified guides and instructors on hand. This is perfect for coastal weekends, like a Newquay stag do.
