If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Robin Hood character, and you’re interested in practicing your aim and fire with your group of merry men, then we definitely recommend that you get a session of archery booked in for your stag weekend. It’s an ancient sport which dates back many centuries, and although you may think it looks like an easy activity, archery requires a steady hand, in addition to copious amount of concentration; so it’s essential that you pay full attention to your instructor, who will give top tips on how to perfect your technique, a quick demonstration and a safety briefing featuring those all-important do’s and don’ts.
Get ready for your competitive streak to emerge amongst your group of stags and see who will be the first lad to hit a bullseye. We offer archery sessions across a whole host of popular destinations across the UK, so you’ll have a whole load of choices to pick from. So, pick up your bow and arrow, and get ready to get fired up for one memorable stag activity – and let us tell you now, there’s certainly no chance of firing blanks with this one!
If you’re thinking about getting something that’s packed with adrenaline organised for the stag do to Nottingham, then how about a session of Xtreme Archery with the lads? It’s different to standard archery, in the sense that you’ll be shooting at your mates and running around trying to score points, but don’t worry because there won’t be any serious injuries here, because the arrows that you’ll be firing with have a rubber tip on the end, so it absorbs the impact when it hits a player – phew!
On the day, you and the rest of the stags will make your way to a great venue, where you’ll meet your instructor, who will go through the rules of the game, a safety briefing and get you all sorted the equipment ready for the game - make sure you’re wearing comfy clothing and trainers on the day! Xtreme Archery is a game all about strategy, and during the experience you’ll be split into two teams and led to the battlefield, where you’ll compete against each other to score points!
Each team will have five specially designed bunkers, which each have five cones in front of them and points will be awarded when these cones are hit, or when a player is hit. It really is great fun and you just know that there will be plenty of banter along the way with this one!
