Stag dos are fantastic for doing activities that you’d never get to try otherwise, and great for activities that get you out of your comfort-zone. White Water Rafting is a fantastic activity for a close-knit bunch of mates because you’ll have to work together; after all it’s you against the elements with only a paddle and a raft to your name. And if you don’t work together? Well your outdoor adventure will be a lot more wet than wild (and not in a good way!).
Our white water rafting experiences offer challenging rapids all across the globe – but what they have in common is expert instruction. Novices need not worry as you’ll be crashing through the waves like an expert in no time. Supervisors will be on hand throughout to ensure that when you inevitably fall into the water you’re totally safe and back on your white knuckle adrenaline junkie experience in no time.
White Water Rafting is fun throughout for you and your lads, but it might not be the best activity around if you’re all feeling a little fragile and sorry for yourselves after the previous night’s fun. That said, there aren’t many better hangover cures than blasting through some freezing cold water. It’s sink or swim!
Step out of your comfort zone and ride the rapids with a water-based thrill session that will see your adrenaline levels peaking on a stag do in Nottingham. This white water rafting event takes place at a 700-metre, gravity-fed course that is powered by the natural flow of the River Trent and hosts major sporting competitions. The session is run by experienced instructors, who’ll kit you out with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet, before giving you a full safety briefing. The guide takes you down the first run to get used to how the raft moves in the water. Then the real fun starts as you surf the ‘Muncher’, nose dunk the ‘Looping Pool’ and high side the ‘Tardis’. This place is used to welcoming stag groups and will tailor the session to your crew – depending on how gung-ho everyone is on the day!
The white water rafting event takes place in a 700 metre course, with a minimum of six people and maximum of eight people per raft. The course is powered by the natural flow of the adjoining River Trent, which means that it is environmentally friendly as well as heaps of fun!
During your two hour session, your qualified guide will take you on a first run down the course to get you used to how the raft moves in the water, then the real fun will being as you surf The Muncher, nose dunk the Looping Pool and high side the Tardis.
This booking / cost is per raft of 7. You can book multiple rafts for various group sizes up to 35 people.
