Prison Experience stag weekends: What to expect
A night in a Riga prison is for those stag groups who want an extreme experience that will live longer in the memory. This prison is a former Russian military base and you will be treated like criminals for the duration of the stay. This is not a boutique hotel but a real-life former prison. Even some of the guards who you encounter worked in the real prison! It’s cold, dark, damp and not for the faint hearted. If you think your stag group has what it takes to survive and even stay the night, then make sure you try this one of a kind activity.

Get a quote!The prison is a former Russian military base and the onsite prison held ex-navy personnel who committed crimes. You will be inducted as prisoners yourselves, having your picture and ID created on site. You will then be at the mercy of the guards who will push you round, shout at you and have you doing drills that former inmates were subjected to you. Depending on what you pick you will then either spend the night in individual cells or have free roam of the scary hallways and rooms. There is even an original canteen where you can sample the original Russian prison food.
