Do you have York stag accommodation near the station?

We would definitely suggest that train is the best way to travel to your York stag do. The station is in the centre of town, and there's a good pub conveniently right next door in case your group is arriving in stages. Naturally, many stag groups want a hotel that's just a short walk from the station, and we have you covered, because there are plenty of stag-friendly choices availableIn fact York is an immensely walkable city all-round, so only rarely will you have need of a taxi.

Is breakfast included?

It can be - you just need to let us know what you're looking for. Many of the hotels we work with will either include breakfast (hot and/or cold) in the room rate, or for a supplementary fee. And of course, in York you're never far from an inviting cafe serving brekkie, or a bakery where you can pick up your much-needed morning coffees and a selection of delicious pastries.

Can you provide York stag hotels with parking?

Yes,we have plenty of accommodation options that offer car parking, either as part of the room rate or for a supplementary fee. However York also has several secure public car parks in the city centre, where you can leave your vehicles for the duration of your stay, for a reasonable rate.

Do you have stag do apartments in York?

Yes, we offer lovely, centrally located self-catering apartments in York, which are ideal for stag groups wanting a bit more privacy and the freedom to cook for themselves. The great advantage of this type of accommodation is that you can relax in the living area before heading out, keep your beers in the fridge, and prepare your own meals (or order in!) - potentially saving yourselves a fair bit of cash.

Can we stay for just one night?

It can often depend on your travel dates. York is an extremely popular tourism destination, so in the summer, and particularly on race weekends, most accommodations will require a minimum stay of two nights.

What amenities can we expect?

Our York stag hotels range from cheap u2018n' cheerful (a basic but comfortable YHA hostel and central budget hotels), to more luxurious properties where you can expect to pay a little more in return for more space and a greater range of amenities. Typically though, you can expect twin rooms with en suite bathrooms, complimentary WiFi, a decent TV, and in most cases, basic facilities for making tea or coffee. Can you arrange York accommodation on race weekends?

Of course - in fact, we can also help your group to book tickets to the races! Our Grandstand and Paddock packages mean you can enjoy a flutter without the need to get suited and booted, although you may opt to do so anyway, just for the fun of it. The famous York Races, some of the most prestigious meets in the country, usually operate on selected weekends between May and October. If you're planning your York stag do over a race weekend, it makes sense to book as far in advance as possible, as hotels do fill up in advance and some will also raise their rates in anticipation of high demand.
