Saturday Night at the Dogs
Send off your stag with a night at the dogs. Nothing beats the excitement as the dogs blast out of the traps and you watch a winner come home. We’ll set you up with entry, drinks vouchers, meals and even a free bet to kick things off. You can either watch from inside the stadium or get into the raw thrill of things by heading down trackside. Generally we find that those who visit the tracks break down into two groups of people. There’s the sort who study over the form for hours, picking their dogs based on pure hard logic. And then there’s the sort who guess on every race, maybe picking a dog here or there with the silliest name. Generally we find these approaches are about as successful as one another.
Either way, even if you aren’t a winner you’re guaranteed a good time with plenty of beer to wash down your defeat. But if you do find yourself backing a few of the best on show then you can earn yourself a pretty penny. Maybe you can take it home from your stag weekend with you? Nah, who are we kidding – you’re gonna spend it on making sure the stag do is even better.
Sometimes the simple pleasures are best and all you need to have a good time is a few drinks, your mates and man’s best friend at your Birmingham stag party. Well, ok, that last part might sound a bit boring, but we're talking greyhounds tearing round a track, so this could be a dog-eat-dog evening, where every man’s out for his dog winning. We’ll get your evening started with entry to the race track, a free drink, a trackside meal and a racecard. More serious gamblers might look long and hard at the racecard beforehand, others might pick one randomly and cross their fingers. Either way, if your luck’s in, you might be going home a whole lot richer! So whether you’ve been to the dogs before or have no idea how the whole thing works, it’s a great way to relax and enjoy an evening with your mates.
