Buses are a popular choice, especially for those who want to explore different parts of Bournemouth for a wallet friendly price. Alternatively, taxis are perfect for those who want to get to their destination quickly, with minimum fuss - always a good options after a big night out!
Finally, if you're staying in the heart of the town centre or near some of the popular attractions, it’s probably easiest to stretch your legs and take a stroll. Bournemouth's a compact destination, and many attractions, restaurants, and bars are within easy walking distance, making it a convenient and wallet friendly option for groups.
Parking in Bournemouth
There are plenty of parking options available in Bournemouth. If your hotel doesn't include parking, then there’s various public car parks. These car parks are easy to locate using Google maps or by heading to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council's ‘Find a car park’ page. In addition to these car parks, there is pay and display on-street parking on many roads near the beach.
BCP Council operates over 2,500 parking spaces in car parks, on-street and coastal areas throughout Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole. Payment methods for parking include cash, card, phone apps, and Ringo too, a cashless parking payment system.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Points in Bournemouth
Driving to Bournemouth in your electric vehicle? Then you’ll want to know where the charging points are! The good news is that Bournemouth council are making efforts to encourage the transition to electric cars. There are now 16 Electric Vehicle Charging Points installed and available across the BCP Council public car parks. These charging points can be found at the following locations: Lake Pier car park, Rockley Serpentine Lane car park, Poole Glen Fern car park, Bournemouth Beach Road car park, Southbourne Grove Road car park, and Boscombe Overstrand car park.

We'll only put you up in hotels that are happy to receive stag groups and know the kind of thing you're looking for. Over the last 10 years Bournemouth has become a major destination for stag do's, and there is a superb range of welcoming accommodation options here to suit every budget.
Where are the best Bournemouth stag hotels?
In Bournemouth, we would suggest that you want to be looking at accommodation either close to the nightlife around Old Christchurch Road and Exeter Road, or close to the beach - preferably both! Which is exactly what we offer you. The Fairmount Hotel is just minutes from the beach, and just outside the town centre, with some rooms sleeping up to nine guests in single beds - perfect for your stag do unless someone's a heavy snorer. And for convenience combined with a known brand and decent value, you can't go wrong with the Travelodge Bournemouth, right on the seafront and promising all the comfort you'd expect from this national chain.
Are we guaranteed availability?
Since Bournemouth is one of our top UK stag do destinations, we have reserved room allocations in many of our accommodations. However it's worth noting that during peak season - in the summer months -these can fill up quickly. So the quicker you can get a deposit down to secure your beds the better, as that means more choice.
Do you have Bournemouth stag accommodation with parking?
Yes, we can certainly help you if you need a hotel with secure car parking. Note that these are often chargeable on top of the room rate, and will usually be on a first-come, first-served basis. Alternatively, there are plenty of 24-hour public car parks around Bournemouth where you can leave your vehicles with confidence, and be only a short walk from themAnd if you prefer to come by rail for convenience, it's just 90 minutes from London and then a five minute taxi ride from the station into central Bournemouth. If you have any activities that require transfers, we'll be happy to arrange them for you. This tends to be the simplest and most cost-effective way for many stag groups.
How do we get into town?
We always aim to accommodate you in a hotel that's no more than 10-20 minutes' walk from the main nightlife areas. At most, it will be a short taxi ride away.
