The Netherlands climate typically consists of cool summers and moderate winters. January is usually the coldest month of the year whilst August is often considered the warmest. Winter months can be fairly cold with temperatures falling below zero. Summers in Holland are often warm and sunny with temperatures reaching 22° C.
