Stag parties looking to warm up for a big night on the town with a day of action-packed fun might opt to take a trip to their nearest paintballing centre.
According to Skirmish Paintball, which this year celebrates its 25th birthday, the exciting outdoor leisure pursuit has become firmly established as a favourite with stag parties.
As one of the fastest-growing sports in Europe, the game offers revellers the chance to get down and dirty and burn off some energy, while pelting their mates with pellets of brightly-coloured paint.
Skirmish director Lawrence Barwick said players should opt for family-owned venues to get the best out of the experience as personal service is guaranteed, but added that anyone can join in the fun.
"You do not have to be young or super fit to play; all you need is the ability to have fun and a sense of humour," he enthused.
According to the UK Paintball Association, the price of playing the sport has come down in recent years due to the glut of operators entering the market, meaning stag parties can join the fun without breaking the bank.
