We've heard it all many times before, but apparently we are set for a heatwave this summer, so if you are planning a uk stag weekend in the sun you may not need to travel abroad. According to Positive Weather Solutions, who were correct in predicting last year's wash-out, the UK is set to have its hottest summer since 1976, which for some will be a welcome relief given the drab wet summers that we've endured recently. Apparently this is due to the warm currents in the Pacific Ocean combining with the effects of the Atlantic's jet stream weather pattern and the Azores high pressure region, but we are not bothered with that boring stuff, we just want to know if we can lounge around in the sun enjoying a cool beer. PWS senior forecaster Jonathan Powell said: "There will be stifling temperatures this summer, making it possibly the warmest UK summer on record and placing it at least in the top three warmest summers recorded." Our top place in the UK to enjoy a summer stag do holiday is a stag weekend in Newquay, although Bournemouth Stag Weekends comes a close second!
