The popular budget hotel Travellodge has decided to announce some of the more unusual objects left in their 460-strong roster of hotels over the last year. A spokesman for the company announced that among the findings from maids in was a full-size Dalek, a set of gold dentures worth £6,500, £10,000 in cash and... a stag handcuffed to a bed.
Yes, indeed a groom-to-be was found by a startled maid in a North-East Travelodge after a stag do party forgot about its most important member.
Jon Hendry-Pickup, Travelodge operations director, said: "Our customers' left behinds demonstrate what a broad cross-section of people stay in our hotels."
Stag do pranks are an increasingly important part of the stag party armoury alongside location and activities.Just do us a favour and try and be a bit more original than the old naked handcuffed to a lampost please, lads.
