When you go on holiday with the family or your other half, you’ll probably hop on an open top bus or take an on-foot tour of the place you’re visiting. However this is a stag do, and whilst it’s good to learn about the history and culture of a city. There’s also something arguably cultured about absorbing some foreign alcohol into your system too. Plus a bar crawl is all part of the stag do tradition in our eyes: it’s a chance for your group to explore different watering holes and different atmospheres, not to mention a fun way to get a “lay of the land.”
There is actually an Oxford English Dictionary recognised description which is as follows,
"A bar crawl is the act of one or more people drinking in multiple bars in a single night, normally walking to each one between drinking."
So yeah, it’s literally what it says on the tin. Most stags start off with a spring in their step and then as the pints continue to flow, being chased down by various evil shots, you will begin to literally crawl, probably ending up on your hands and knees begging the bouncer to let you in the club. (Let's hope it doesn't come to that!) Each country and city will offer different types of crawls. From pedi buses to more traditional guided booze fuelled excursions. We’ve got a bar crawl to suit every type of stag group!*

We had a large group of 21 on a stag weekend to Prague, not one could complain about any part that involved The Stag Company. The bar crawl did everything it says on the tin. Our host Sophie catered for us, taking us to places we wanted to go and organising the finer details in the clubs to embarrass the stag. Credit to Sophie she did an amazing job! 21 of us was not easy to manage. - James Boyce (Stag Company Trust Pilot)
